The respective customer who creates and conducts a survey using Squib is responsible for the content of the survey and for any personal data collected through it. Squib generally processes this data on behalf of the customer within the scope of the agreed services.
Where Squib processes personal data for its own purposes, such as providing the platform, managing user accounts, billing, IT security, or support, Squib itself is responsible for such processing.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary to provide and use the platform, conduct surveys, fulfill contractual obligations, or comply with legal requirements.
As long as a customer account remains active, the associated data is generally retained to the extent necessary for platform operations and the agreed usage under the selected pricing plan. After termination of the contract, deletion of the account, or once the purpose of processing no longer applies, the relevant data is deleted or anonymized, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate reasons require temporary continued storage.
After termination of the contract or deletion of an account, Squib generally removes the relevant data from its production systems. Data contained in backup copies is no longer used productively and is permanently removed as part of the regular backup cycles, unless legal obligations or legitimate reasons require further retention.
Yes. Customers can export their data before the end of the contract or before deleting an account, within the scope of the available platform features and contractual agreements.
Under applicable data protection laws, data subjects have the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data, and where applicable, the right to receive or transfer their data.
Where Squib processes data on behalf of a customer, the respective customer is generally responsible for the legal assessment and handling of such requests. Squib supports the customer within the scope of the contractual agreements.
